The story

The scar was from a lawn mower accident.

I moved the mower whilst the blade was still spinning around. Which cut two fingers on my left hand. I was at my daughter’s house. She called an ambulance. At the time, it didn’t hurt until much later.

In A&E they called a surgeon who stitched me up there and then. People don’t often notice that my fingers are different.

It happened six years ago.

My hands work fine.
